A few things about me
I was born and raised in Athens, Greece. From an early age, I discovered my artistic nature through painting. At the age of 7, I received my first award as a child prodigy. When I was 12, I held a camera for the first time, and I’ve been capturing the world through my lens ever since.
As an adult, I had the privilege of studying photography under one of Greece’s finest black-and-white film photographers, Mr. Giannis Galanis. During the final exhibition of our Art School, one of my photographs was selected as the main theme of the show. After completing my film photography studies, I transitioned to digital photography and post-processing at a Digital Art School.
For the past 17 years, I have specialized in sports photography while continuing to nurture my artistic expression. As a sports photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the CEV (European Volleyball Federation) at various international events, as well as with the Greek Volleyball Federation. My work has been published globally—in websites, newspapers, and magazines—and I have collaborated with numerous male and female athletes from around the world.
Since 2008, in addition to my work with the federations, I have contributed regularly to the following websites: Redvolley.gr, Greekvolley.com, Volleycountry.com, and Greekvolley.gr.
Beyond sports, I worked for nine years as a fashion and event photographer for Ecali Club, where I also illustrated menus.
Canon has been my preferred brand since my first professional film camera, but I am comfortable working with any kind of camera equipment.
